Fortune Says Akio Toyoda Could Be Auto Industry’s Next ‘Superstar CEO’

A great story came out in Fortune magazine recently about the CEO of Toyota, Akio Toyoda. Akio is an amazing person with a well-rounded education. He went to college in Boston! The article asserts that there is a leadership vacuum in the industry and that Toyoda “is ideally positioned to provide the industry with some needed leadership for the next ten years.” Click here to take a look at what they said about Akio.

When you take into consideration mileage, emissions, range, resale value and total ownership costs, the current Toyota Prius costs less to buy and drive than the Chevrolet Volt and Cruze Eco, the Nissan Leaf and the Ford Fusion hybrid, according to the Los Angeles Times. An Off-Road Icon: The 1983 Land Crusier (FJ 40 Series)

We have the 1983 Toyota Land Cruiser on display right now in the Ardmore Toyota showroom. It is not for sale but it is worth the visit. Come check out one of the last FJ 40s imported to the U.S. It is unknown how many were imported by Toyota but many guess the number to be around 300.
