On Thursday November 8 th, 2012, Max Paul’s Ardmore Toyota hosted the Taste of Ardmore event for the 4 th year. The event celebrates some of the excellent food and fashion that is part of the Ardmore Community. 6ABC, CBS3, Main Line Times & Ardmore Patch were some of the media outlets on hand at Ardmore Toyota to cover this wonderful event. The event is put together by the Ardmore Initiative which is the Ardmore Business coalition. The proceeds from this fundraiser support the local Ardmore businesses in the community. Restaurants that participated in Taste of Ardmore included Gillane’s Bar & Grille, Firinji, Ardmore Station Café, Plate, Kotatsu, MilkBoy Coffee, Primavera Pizza Kitchen, A Taste of Olive, McShea’s, McCloskeys, Main Line Wine Events, Tired Hands Brew Company, Golden bowl and Barbacoa. Some of the shops whose fashion was recognized during the evening included Hassry’s Treasures, Human Zoom Bikes, Giannini Jewelers, Lucky Girl, and more. Ardmore Toyota & Central City Toyota support Living Beyond Breast Cancer
On November 5th, 2012, Ryan Pesin, VP of Marketing for Ardmore & Central City Toyota, presented a check for $500 to Jenna Jackson, of Living Beyond Breast Cancer ( http://www.lbbc.org/). Their mission is as follows: “Living Beyond Breast Cancer empowers all women affected by Brest Cancer to live as long as possible with the best quality of life.” Throughout the Saturday’s in October 2012, Ardmore & Central City Toyota invited customers in to test drive or service their vehicle, and on behalf of those customers, Ardmore & Central City made this donation to LBBC. In addition, to help bring awareness to Breast Cancer and this wonderful cause, all employees wore Pink T-Shits on Saturday’s in October. The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and Toyota Expand Buckle Up for Life to Philadelphia
Responding to disproportionate risks that African American and Hispanic children face in motor vehicle-related crashes, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), Toyota and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center announced on October 12th, 2012 that they are bringing the groundbreaking national safety education program Buckle Up for Life to Philadelphia for the first time. The program represents a partnership between two of U.S. News’ top-three children’s hospitals and one of the world’s largest automakers to improve the safety of some of the most vulnerable children on the road. Get fit with Focus Fitness & Ardmore Toyota on October 7th
On Sunday October 7 th, 2012, Ardmore Toyota will be hosting an event that will support Living Beyond Breast Cancer. The Event, called “Get Fit with Focus Fitness & Ardmore Toyota“ will take place at 10:30am at Ardmore Toyota and will be a Yoga Class. All proceeds from the Yoga Class will go to Living Beyond Breast Cancer. At 11:30am, there will be refreshments served immediately after the Yoga Class. In addition, Ardmore Toyota will be making a donation to Living Beyond Breast Cancer based on the amount of customers that come in to test drive a vehicle or service a vehicle on both Saturday October 6 th & Saturday October 13 th. The "29th Annual National Night Out" (NNO), a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW), has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 7, 2012. NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness & generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. These are exciting times at Max Paul's Central City Toyota. The dealership is fully operational for business and has not missed a beat. Jamie Haberle and the Service Department are doing a fabulous job servicing and repairing customer’s vehicles. Chris Carola and the Sales Team are busy upgrading customers into newer vehicles. Meanwhile, there is construction taking place and the main part of the dealership is being knocked down to make way for a new state of the art facility for customers to enjoy. 6594 Winter Coats Donated to Kids in Philadelphia
Ardmore Toyota & Central City Toyota participated this past week in handing out coats to children at the West Philadelphia YMCA, which is located just a couple blocks from our Central City Toyota location. We are proud to support the CARing for Kids Foundation and to put a winter coat on a child during these cold months ahead. The event was a huge success and the children were all so happy to get their new winter jackets. With the cold weather and snow already here, the children got their winter coats just in time!
