tundraIf you’re looking for a vehicle that combines big style and big performance, the only vehicle you should consider is a truck. Out of all the different trucks that you could drive this model year, the two that will provide you with the highest quality are the Toyota Tundra and Toyota Sequoia.

Designed to impress truck enthusiasts everywhere, the Tundra and Sequoia have been refreshed this year to provide even bigger style and more impressive features. If you’re interested in driving either of these excellent trucks in 2018 and beyond, you need to learn about some of their newest features and enticing benefits.

TRD Sport

Before you learn about the individual differences of these new trucks, it’s a good idea to learn about what these vehicles have in common.

One of the biggest changes you’ll find in both the 2018 Toyota Tundra and 2018 Toyota Sequoia is the availability of the TRD Sport trim. The main benefit of this trim level is having access to a 5.7-liter iForce V8 engine that can produce 318 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. Other features of the TRD Pro trim include anti-roll bars, Bilstein performance shocks, and the ability to choose either a Double Cab or CrewMax body style.

Another updated feature possessed by both the Tundra and the Sequoia is the inclusion of standard safety. Both of these trucks come equipped with Toyota Safety Sense-P, a suite of active safety technology that includes lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic braking with pedestrian detection.

2018 Toyota Tundra

Now that you’ve learned about the features these two exceptional trucks have in common, it’s time to learn about their new individual features. The best new features of the 2018 Toyota Tundra are those related to style, with multiple new features across different trim levels.

For example, on certain Tundra trims, you have access to a bold mesh grille insert, while the 1794 trim provides a billet-style trim. Also, three Tundra trims—Limited, Platinum, 1794—come standard with LED headlights and LED daytime running lights.

In choosing the Tundra TRD Sport, you will be afforded a few additional unique features not available to the other Tundra packages. These include 20-inch alloy wheels with black accents, black headlight bezels and a variety of paint options that include Midnight Black Pearl, Blazing Blue Pearl, and Barcelona Red Metallic.

2018 Toyota Sequoia

Like its counterpart, the Tundra, the 2018 Toyota Sequoia comes loaded with new features that consumers will be sure to love. All models of the Sequoia come equipped with a variety of exterior LED lights, as well as an attractive sports grille. Other new features that make the Sequoia one of the premier trucks on the market include a refreshed gauge cluster with a multi-information display and a new, easier-to-use center console.

Also, the Sequoia has its own signature TRD Sport features that are destined to impress. These features include leather captain’s chairs, gloss-black mirror caps, TRD door sill guards, and bold 20-inch black alloy wheels.

Whether you choose to drive the 2018 Toyota Tundra or the 2018 Toyota Sequoia, you’ll be getting an excellent truck that is filled to the brim with new and exciting features.
