Max Paul’s Central City Toyota has had a wonderful relationship with the University City & West Philadelphia community throughout the years. Part of the community includes Walnut Hill. On October 13th, 2012, the Walnut Hill Community Association is hosting their annual Fall Festival at 52nd & Pine (Malcolm X Park) from 11am – 5pm. On Saturday September 29th, 2012 Ardmore Toyota Scion participated in the Annual Campus Philly Event on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Ardmore Scion had a special Scion FR-S model on hand as well as an all new 2013 Scion xD on hand for all guests to see.

Toyota once again ranked the highest of automotive brands and No. 10 among all brands on Interbrand’s 2012 Best Global Brands list.  Topping the 13th annual 100 Best Global Brands report was Coca-Cola, followed by Apple, IBM, Google and Microsoft.

In the automotive sector, Toyota was followed by Mercedes Benz (#11), BMW (#12) and Honda (#21).  Interbrands stated in their report that automotive brands are becoming more attuned to the emotional connection consumers have with their cars.

Interbrand creates the ranking by examining a brand’s financial performance, the role the brand plays in influencing consumer choice, and strength the brand has to command a premium price or secure earnings for the company.

The Event, called “Get Fit with Focus Fitness & Ardmore Toyota“ will take place at 10:30am at Ardmore Toyota and will be a Yoga Class. All proceeds from the Yoga Class will go to Living Beyond Breast Cancer. At 11:30am, there will be refreshments served immediately after the Yoga Class. In addition, Ardmore Toyota will be making a donation to Living Beyond Breast Cancer based on the amount of customers that come in to test drive a vehicle or service a vehicle on both Saturday October 6th & Saturday October 13th. Harsh conditions and harsh work is enough to beat up any truck. So how well did the Tundra hold up after its life on the ranch? On Friday September 21st, 2012, Max Paul’s Ardmore Toyota & Central City Toyota sponsored the Magee Rehabilitation Jerry Segal Classic Golf Outing. The event took place at the Ace Golf Club & Green Valley Country Club in Lafayette Hill, PA. The event included a Golf Outing and gave all participants the opportunity to hit a Hole in One and win $10,000 from Ardmore Toyota. The Golf Tournament was followed by a Dinner Event and Auction giveaway where proceeds went to the patients Magee Rehabilitation Hospital. The mission of Magee Rehabilitation is to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities by providing high quality physical and cognitive rehabilitation services. On Thursday September 20th, 2012, Max Paul’s Ardmore Toyota & Central City Toyota hosted a Toyota New Owner Clinic. Over 60 guests attended who were recent new owners of a Toyota they purchased or Leased at Max Paul’s Ardmore Toyota.

Guests enjoyed a fully catered dinner by Hymie’s Delicatessen and had the opportunity to meet both Roy Cassidy & Jamie Haberle, Service Directors of Ardmore Toyota & Central City Toyota. Customers have two convenient locations to service their new Toyota models within the Max Paul family of Dealerships, and this Clinic gave customers the chance to meet the technicians at both locations and learn more about maintenance and usage of their Toyota vehicle. On Wednesday September 12th, 2912 in Washington, DC at a Safety Research Forum , Toyota announced that it has teamed up with the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI) to conduct a major new study of 5,600 teens and adults. Results of the Teen Driver Distraction Study commissioned by the Toyota Collaborative Safety Research Center (CSRC) in July 2012 will be released incrementally as data is analyzed.


The study will examine teen attitudes toward frequently discussed risks, such as texting and driving, to help identify effective recommendations to keep teen drivers safe.
